Brave Ox Bathome - Lessons Learned

Since Dumile triumphs over a dismal situation, it is for us to take a lesson that no matter what situation we find ourselves in we should never give up, because a resolution may be on the way.  When growing up I was always interested in the supernatural and I think by including the magic element makes the story more appealing to children. I would read this story so that they can fantasize.  The story also takes you on an emotional journey in that you become sad, hopeless then finally happy when Bathome comes back to life.  I think this can be used to teach children to manage their emotions.
