Queen of Tortoises - Story Analysis

In this story we meet tortoise who is in a state of depression and feels that there is nothing important about being a tortoise because of this she feels jelous of the other animals.  She refuses to accept this fate or what others tell her about being special the way she is.  She embarks on a journey to distinguish herself from the other tortoises.  Her journey leads to a tragic event, but it is this event that leads her to being unique and assuming her role as Queen of tortoises.
