The sun is the father role, who is married to the Moon and they have many children who are the stars.  The sun always goes out on discovery journeys and returns to tell his children stories.  On one of his journeys he meets The Sea and they build a sudden friendship.  The Sun decides to invite The Sea to his home to meet his family.

The Moon, Sun and Stars are meant to portray a happy family.  Then comes The Sea who causes a rift between them.  The Moon becomes angry and decides to leave with the children (The Stars) to the sky.
