Brave ox Bathome - Story Analysis

This story brings to our attention the relationship that exists between a boy and an animal (ox).  The story magical in nature and will enable the children to escape their reality while stimulating their imaginations.  The brings elements of sadness, anticipation and joy all to the fore.  This kind of story I would read it to the children during story time.  Not only is this an entertaining story but is filled with a lots of events that may enable the children to develop their sequencing skills.
